If I want to pursue MBA in a niche field abroad, it’s preferred to have some work experience. However, if I do a 2 year internship with a company that works in the niche field I am interested in, and apply for an MBA abroad right after my graduation, does that make me a candidate worth considering?

MBA degree regardless of which field should always be done after some work experience. MBA is more of a practical degree rather than theoretical, so gaining some work experience prior will give you a better understanding of the application.
